So you’re tough, but are you tough enough to take on the Tough Gal Team Challenge?
In association with the ever popular Tough Guy and Gal Challenge we have introduced a women’s only team challenge. This event is tailored specifically for teams of 3 to take on a 6km course full of man-made and natural obstacles – competing, conquering and finishing together. This is a women’s only event designed for ladies of all ages to get together, dress up in fancy dress and enjoy a fun day out in the mud. It is being rolled out in two of our popular Tough Guy and Gal venues – Auckland and Rotorua.
The vision behind this event is to bring women together in an environment where they feel comfortable to challenge their abilities, push themselves outside their comfort zones, encourage and empower one another to achieve and accomplish more than what’s often thought possible.

Entry Confirmation
You will receive confirmation of your entry and team number via email when you enter. Please print this out and bring along to registration. You can also check your entry by clicking here and looking at our confirmed entrant list. (Link to come).

Registration
Auckland: Helensville Tennis Club – 124 Rautawhiri Road. Registration will be at the Tennis Centre.
Rotorua: Lakes Ranch, 79 Lake Rotokawau Rd. Registration will be in the big barn.
Refund Policy
Refunds up until 7 days before the event date will incur a $15.00 administration/booking fee. There will be no refunds with 7 days of the event date. In the case of a natural disaster, closure of the forest due to high winds or other uncontrollable factors, “Act of God” conditions causing the cancellation of the event, entry fees will not be refunded. Please contact 07 3483301 or jenna@eventpromotions.co.nz if you need to withdraw from the event.
Transfers/Changes
Person to person transfers may be made between competitors up to 7 days prior to the event date – after this they must be made at the event day registration. These transfers MUST be made between the same entry type (event distance).
Transferring to a different entry type and event days can be done 14 days prior to the event date – after this they must be done at the event day registration.

Covid-19 Event Policy
If this event is cancelled due to government restrictions relating to the covid-19 pandemic the below options will be available for you
- Transfer your entry for this event to the following year
- Transfer to an alternative Event Promotions event (event options to be listed at the time of cancellation)
- Receive a 50% refund of your entry fee
If the event is postponed your entry will be automatically moved to the new event date provided by Event Promotions.
All competitors who are entered into the event will be contacted via email if there are any changes to the event.
Limited edition Glow Lab Tough Gal Team Challenge T-Shirt – TBC for 2021
You can pre-order a T-Shirt when you enter online, or purchase from the online shop. They will be available for you to pick up at your event. Limited stock will be available for purchase at the event, cash only.

There is no official timing at this event as the emphasis is on participation but we will celebrate and congratulate the top 3 teams.
Prize-giving for both Venues
Prize-giving is held at 2.45pm. It will be held at from the stage truck and you must be present to take home any prizes!
Merit Prizes
Medals will be awarded to the first 3 Tough Gal Teams who cross the finish line.

We have We are working with some epic brands to provide some goodies which will be given away at prize giving.

Limited numbers
This event is limited to 750 teams, so make sure you enter early to avoid disappointment as these events often sell out! We will advise on the website when an event sells out.
What to wear
It is compulsory to wear covered in shoes during the event. You will get wet and muddy. A dry set of clothing, beanie and jacket is highly recommended following your event. Football or Rugby boots with molded studs are acceptable, running spikes or boots with aluminium studs are not permitted.
Every Competitor Receives
Each competitor will receive a Loaded sports drink, FREE Hell Pizza (voucher valued at $9.50), Tough Gal Team Challenge branded reusable cup and a chance to win some epic spot prizes at prize giving.
Shower and Parking
Hot showers, parking and first aid support are included in your entry fee.
Food and Drinks
Hot food and beverages will be available from the venue for purchase – please bring cash as most places will not have Eftpos facilities.

Ronald McDonald House Charities® (RMHC®) New Zealand supports families when their child is in a New Zealand hospital away from home! RMHC New Zealand keeps families together, positively impacting on their journey by allowing them to focus on their children.
You can get involved by:

The money you raise through your Tough Guy & Gal event will support families while their children receive medical treatment in a hospital away from home. Download the RMHC fundraising form (link above), fill out your details and then use this form to collect the details of the people who have donated to you. Give the form and the money you have raised back to RMHC New Zealand team at your Tough Guy & Gal event.

The Rotorua venue address is Lakes Ranch, 79 Lake Rotokawau Rd. Registration will be in the big barn.Just follow the signs to Hells Gate and Lakes Ranch is located directly opposite.
This is the original home of the Tough Guy & Gal Challenge. This venue provides a magnificent course with spectacular scenery for the ultimate experience.The facilities include hot showers, large hot swimming pool, backpacker style accommodation, hot food and coffee for sale and good parking.
Numbers are limited to 750 teams per day!
