New Zealand’s original mud run series, the Cartrack Tough Guy and Gal Challenge is the ultimate obstacle course race designed for thrill-seekers and adventure lovers. This action-packed event tests participants’ endurance, strength, and determination while offering a fun and exhilarating experience.

Each course is unique to it’s local environment. The events are open to both male and female competitors who are 13 years of age and older.

Wellington Venue Information
Wainuiomata, Wellington
The event will be held at Camp Wainui, 203 Coast Road, Wainuiomata, Wellington 5373 – just 10km from Lower Hutt.
Camp Wainui provides a unique opportunity within a NZ native bush environment. Run through water trails, crawl under barbwire obstacles, clamber through tunnels, wade through swamp crossings and pull yourself up hill climbs. The facilities include hot showers, hot food and coffee for sale and free parking. Please car pool if possible, as parking is tight.
Numbers are limited to 1,000 competitors per day!
Kumeu, West Auckland Venue Information
Kumeu, West Auckland
The West Auckland venue address is Kumeu Showgrounds, Gate 2, Access Road, Kumeu. Registration will be in Shed 2.
Only 20 km out of the Auckland CBD, the Kumeu Showgrounds is a blank canvas of 80 acres that we know will be one of our best venues.
The facilities include hot showers, toilets, changing rooms, covered areas for gathering, hot food and coffee for sale and free parking. We will have designated car, van and bus parking areas available at the venue as space is not a problem!
Numbers are limited to 1,100 per day!
Rotorua Venue Information
Lakes Ranch, Rotorua
The Rotorua venue is Lakes Ranch, 79 Lake Rotokawau Rd. Registration will be in the big barn. Just follow the signs to Hells Gate and Lakes Ranch is located directly opposite.
This is the original home of the Tough Guy & Gal Challenge. This venue provides a magnificent course with spectacular scenery for the ultimate experience.The facilities include hot showers, large hot swimming pool, backpacker style accommodation, hot food and coffee for sale and good parking.
Numbers are limited to 2,000 per day!

HAVE A LARGE GROUP??
The entry fee decreases to $60.00 per person if you have a group of 10+ people.
All group entries MUST be received at least three weeks prior to each event to qualify for the discount.
Please email info@eventpromotions.co.nz with the number of competitors you wish to enter. We will then send you an invoice, and once the invoice has been paid we will allocate you with a pin code. You will then be able to enter yourself and your group through our online system, or provide your group members with the pin code so they can enter themselves online.
If you have 5+ people you would like to add to the group at a later date, email us again with the remaining number of people you would like to enter, we will send you another invoice and repeat the process.
ENTRY CONFIRMATION
You will receive confirmation of your entry via email after you have completed the online entry process.

Withdrawal and Refund Policy
ALL withdrawals MUST be notified to info@eventpromotions.co.nz by 9:00am, 7 days prior to the event date. These withdrawals will receive their entry fee refund, minus a $15.00 administrative/booking fee.
Any withdrawals notified to info@eventpromotions.co.nz after 9:00am, 7 days prior to the event date will not be entitled to a refund, no exceptions.
In the case of a natural disaster, extreme or dangerous weather situation, “Act of God” conditions, or other uncontrollable factors causing the cancellation of the event, entry fees will not be refunded.
Transfer Policy
All person to person transfers can be made between individuals up to 9:00am, 14 days prior to the event date, after this date, they must be done at event registration. These transfers MUST be made between the same entry type (event distance).
All transfers to a different entry type (event distance) can be made up to 9:00am, 14 days prior to the event date, after this date, they must be done at event registration.
You cannot transfer an entry to another event, or following year under any circumstances.

Prove that your company group is tough enough by taking on the famous Tough Guy and Gal Challenge in the Corporate and Gym/Club Challenge!
In this ultimate off road challenge your group will test themselves on a course that includes swamps, net climbs, natural and man made obstacles, mud mud and more mud.
This is a chance for your company or gym/club to get together outside of work hours, train, work on team bonding, swap the business attire for fancy dress and take on the 6km run or walk course option in the fight for the Corporate Challenge or Gym/Club Challenge title!
How it works?!
Available for the 6km course option only!!
Get together a group of at least 5 people, create a corporate or gym/club name and enter yourselves for the challenge. You must have a minimum of 5 group members, there are no maximum number of members in a Corporate or Gym/Club Team.
The Corporate and Gym/Club Challenge trophy will be awarded to the first team of five competing in the 6km event. Your combined individual placings will be used to calculate your overall team placing. Plus – all your team members are eligible for individual grade positions. For example; if your top 5 team places are 14th Male, 22nd Male, 32nd Male, 4th Female and 19th Female mean your team total is 14 + 22 + 32 + 4 + 19 = 91 points
All members of your Corporate team must be employees, relatives, partners of, contractors, or suppliers to the company.
All members of your Gym/Club team must be members or employees of your gym or club.

How to register a Corporate or Gym/Club Team
Please get your team manager to register a team by selecting the “Register A Team” from the home page of the online registration page. Once you have created a new team you will then receive an email to confirm you have created a new team. As the team manager you can either enter all your team members yourself or forward the registration home page link along with your team name and password onto your team members to enter themselves.

IMPORTANT NOTE! There are NO DOGS allowed at any of our events. Our event venues are on private land that have wildlife and/or domestic animals. Please leave them at home!

Obstacles
All obstacles are designed to be challenging, but achievable for people of all abilities. If at any stage you feel you cannot complete an obstacle or feel uncomfortable with it, you are welcome to skip the obstacle. It is important to note that if you do skip an obstacle, you will be ineligible for podium placings.
We also want to make everyone aware that we do not have ANY electrified obstacles at our events.

What to wear
It is compulsory to wear covered in shoes during the event. You will get wet and muddy. A dry set of clothing, beanie and jacket is highly recommended following your event. Football or rugby boots with moulded studs are acceptable, running spikes or boots with aluminium studs are not permitted.
