TOUGH GUY AND GAL CHALLENGE MVP!!
If you compete in more than one of our Cartrack Tough Guy and Gal Challenge Series in either the Middleware 6km or Hell Pizza 12km distances (Wellington, Auckland or Rotorua) you can receive a special entry fee rate!
Enter in two events for $110.00 per person (covers two event venues)
Enter into all three events for $150.00 per person (covers all three event venues)

HAVE A LARGE GROUP??
The entry fee decreases to $52.50 per person if you have a group of 10+ people.
All group entries MUST be received at least three weeks prior to each event to qualify for the discount.
Please email info@eventpromotions.co.nz with the number of competitors you wish to enter. We will then send you an invoice, and once the invoice has been paid we will allocate you with a pin code. You will then be able to enter yourself and your group through our online system, or provide your group members with the pin code so they can enter themselves online.
If you have 5+ people you would like to add to the group at a later date, email us again with the remaining number of people you would like to enter, we will send you another invoice and repeat the process.

10:00am: Start of the Hell Pizza 12km event
10:10am: Start of the Middleware 6km event
10:20am: Start of the 3km event (AUCKLAND ONLY)

Registrations
Wellington: Camp Wainui, 203 Coast Road, Wainuiomata. Registration in main building.
Auckland: Kumeu Showgrounds, Gate 2, Access Road, Kumeu. Registration will be in Shed 2.
Rotorua: Lakes Ranch, 79 Lake Rotokawau Rd. Registration will be in the big barn.
Cut off Times
All 12km competitors must have completed 1 lap of the course by 11:15am otherwise they will only be permitted to do the 6km event.
Withdrawal and Refund Policy
ALL withdrawals MUST be notified to info@eventpromotions.co.nz by 9:00am, 7 days prior to the event date. These withdrawals will receive their entry fee refund, minus a $15.00 administrative/booking fee.
Any withdrawals notified to info@eventpromotions.co.nz after 9:00am, 7 days prior to the event date will not be entitled to a refund, no exceptions.
In the case of a natural disaster, or other uncontrollable factors, “Act of God” conditions causing the cancellation of the event, entry fees will not be refunded.
Transfer Policy
All person to person transfers can be made between individuals up to 9:00am, 7 days prior to the event date, after this date, they must be done at event registration. These transfers MUST be made between the same entry type (event distance).
All transfers to a different entry type (event distance) can be made up to 9:00am, 14 days prior to the event date, after this date, they must be done at event registration.
You cannot transfer an entry to another event, or following year under any circumstances.

Open Men & Women
Open to male and female competitors 13-39 years of age. Medals will be awarded to the first 3 male and female competitors who complete the full 12km, (two 6km laps)
Older Brutes & Beauties
Open to male and female competitors 40yrs of age and older. Medals will be awarded to the first 3 male and female competitors who complete the full 12km, (two 6km laps)
Middleware 6km Event
Open Men & Women
Open to male and female competitors 13-39 years of age. Medals will be awarded to the first 3 male and female competitors who complete one 6km lap.
Older Brutes & Beauties
Open to male and female competitors 40yrs of age and older. Medals will be awarded to the first 3 male and female competitors who complete one 6km lap.
6km Corporate Challenge
Open to any Corporate or Companies male and female, all ages. A trophy and a quality team prize will be awarded to the fastest Corporate team of 5 people (minimum of 2 women in each team)
*The venue in Kumeu, Auckland will require competitors to perform laps of the course. The 3km event will be 1 lap, the 6km event will be 2 laps and the 12km course will be 4 laps.
Prizes
Prize-giving is held at 12.45pm (or as soon as we get results are the final competitors have finished) It will be held at from the stage truck and you must be present to take home any prizes!
Merit Prizes
Medals will be awarded to the top 3 Toughest Guys & Gals in each category.
Spot Prizes
Thanks to our sponsors, a huge variety of spot prizes will be given away at prize-giving. These include Smith Sport Shoes prizes, Hell Pizza vouchers and much more! You must be present to be eligible for these prizes. A great way to finish off a brilliant day.

Cut off Times
All 12km competitors must have completed 1 lap (2 laps for Kumeu, Auckland) of the course by 11.15pm otherwise they will only be permitted to do the 6km event.
Obstacles
All obstacles are designed to be challenging, but achievable for people of all abilities. If at any stage you feel you cannot complete an obstacle or feel uncomfortable with it, you are welcome to skip the obstacle. It is important to note that if you do skip an obstacle, you will be ineligible for podium placings.
We also want to make everyone aware that we do not have ANY electrified obstacles at our events.
All Tough Guy & Gal Entries
• Every entry regardless of category or entry type is an Individual entry.
• Enter a group of 10+ people and receive a special discounted rate of $52.50 pp – all entries are still individual entries
• A group of less than 10 people are still individual entries and need to enter individually online or via entry form.
Age Limit
13+ for the Tough Guy & Gal Challenge ( If they are younger, please see our Junior Tough Guy and Gal).
Limited numbers
Each event has limited places available, so make sure you enter early to avoid disappointment as these events sell out! We will advise on the website when an event sells out.
What to wear
It is compulsory to wear covered in shoes during the event. You will get wet and muddy. A dry set of clothing, beanie and jacket is highly recommended following your event. Football or Rugby boots with molded studs are acceptable, running spikes or boots with aluminium studs are not permitted.
Every Competitor Receives
Each competitor will receive a FREE Hell Pizza (voucher valued at $9.50), Tough Guy and Gal branded souvenir, electronic timing and a chance to win one of the minor and major spot prizes.
Personalised Bib Numbers
If you enter at least two weeks before your event you will receive your very own personalized bib number.
Shower and Parking
Hot showers, parking and first aid support are included in your entry fee.
Food and Drinks
Hot food and beverages will be available from the venue for purchase – please bring cash as most places will not have Eftpos facilities.
Photos
Official event photos will be available at www.marathon-photos.com after the event.

Prove that your company group is tough enough by taking on the famous Tough Guy and Gal Challenge in the Corporate and Gym/Club Challenge!
In this ultimate off road challenge your group will test themselves on a course that includes swamps, net climbs, natural and man made obstacles, mud mud and more mud.
This is a chance for your company or gym/club to get together outside of work hours, train, work on team bonding, swap the business attire for fancy dress and take on the 6km run or walk course option in the fight for the Corporate Challenge or Gym/Club Challenge title!
How it works?!
Available for the 6km course option only!!
Get together a group of at least 5 people, create a corporate or gym/club name and enter yourselves for the challenge. You must have a minimum of 5 group members, there are no maximum number of members in a Corporate or Gym/Club Team.
The Corporate and Gym/Club Challenge trophy will be awarded to the first team of five competing in the 6km event. Your combined individual placings will be used to calculate your overall team placing. Plus – all your team members are eligible for individual grade positions. For example; if your top 5 team places are 14th Male, 22nd Male, 32nd Male, 4th Female and 19th Female mean your team total is 14 + 22 + 32 + 4 + 19 = 91 points
All members of your Corporate team must be employees, relatives, partners of, contractors, or suppliers to the company.
All members of your Gym/Club team must be members or employees of your gym or club.

How to register a Corporate or Gym/Club Team
Register your team HERE
Please get your team manager to register a team by selecting the “Register A Team” from the home page of the online registration page. Once you have created a new team you will then receive an email to confirm you have created a new team. As the team manager you can either enter all your team members yourself or forward the registration home page link along with your team name and password onto your team members to enter themselves.
