The teacher in charge can hand these out to students at their discretion who are aiming for a PODIUM PLACING. These wrist bands must be worn by the elite athletes only and must be shown to the marshal at the start line as proof to start in the first wave of competitors. Any unused wrist bands need to be returned to event staff. Please ensure fairness of allocation across both genders.
Merit Prizes
Medals will be awarded to the top three competitors across the line in each secondary school grade and first across the line in the Older Brutes and Beauties grade.
Toughest School
This prize will be determined by your school’s top 3 placings across the 6km event. Your 3 combined placings calculate your schools score. There will be both male and female trophies up for grabs.
Spot Prizes
Awesome spot prizes will be randomly drawn at prize-giving. All competitors are eligible but you must be present at prize-giving to collect your prize.
Every Competitor Receives
Electronic timing, first aid onsite, a downloadable certificate and a chance to win one of the major spot prizes.
IMPORTANT NOTE! There are NO DOGS allowed at any of our events. Our event venues are on private land that have wildlife and/or domestic animals. Please leave them at home!
