Due to the uncertainty of current Covid19 Alert levels, with the unlikelihood of New Zealand returning to Alert Level 1 soon, we have brought along our new Delta Virtual 42km or 100km 2021 to cater to all those who are and were unable to participate in our end of year 2021 events.
We decided that we need a fun virtual event to end the year that was 2021! So why not take on our Delta Virtual 42km or 100km 2021? You can compete in any form of sporting disciplines – Run, Walk, Swim, Bike, anything you’d like! Just as long as you’re getting out there and having fun being active!
We understand life has gone back to normal for half of the country with work, sport, children and life commitments as crazy as ever. So we have created these two distances we believe are achievable for anyone and everyone no matter your current circumstances.
You can do any form of sport discipline! Run, walk, swim, bike, crawl, jog – you name it!
Take on the Delta Virtual 2021 event and complete either 42km or 100km in two weeks!

Challenges and Spot Prizes: Much like our original virtual event in 2020, we will be setting some awesome weekly challenges to complete throughout the two weeks and have wicked spot prizes up for grabs. These challenges will be posted into the Delta Virtual 42km/100km 2021 Facebook event page.
Tracking (Optional): Join the Strava Delta Virtual 42km/100km 2021 event to record your distance and see how you go against other competitors.
How do I track my progress and where do I submit this? You can track your progress however you like – we are encouraging people to use whatever apps/methods they are familiar with. This could be done using a Fitbit, a smart watch, an app, manually etc. We have recommended using the Strava app as this is widely used and easy to set up/accessible to almost everyone with a smart phone, but it is not compulsory. You do not need to submit your progress anywhere to prove you’ve completed the event and to receive your medal
Results: Please note that with this being a Virtual Event, we will have no results or podium placings. You will be able to download a participation certificate once the challenge has finished.
